You probably have a very clean home and like to keep it that way. Even if you do, there may be some invisible enemies lurking in the open. If at any point you’ve left your property, chances are good that you’ve touched something that someone else has been near. Throughout this pandemic, we’ve been reminded to wash our hands thoroughly, for at least 20 seconds.
In addition to handwashing, though, it’s important to remember to disinfect common touchpoints around your house. Light switches, garage door openers, door handles, doors, and thresholds are often the first things we touch when we get back into the house. Cleaning these with a disinfectant solution can help keep COVID-19 out of your home. If you don’t have access to typical commercial disinfectants, a solution of at least 2% bleach may be all that’s needed to kill the virus.
